EASTER EGGS are they bad for cats

Let’s keep the answer simple !!! All kinds of chocolate is TOXIC!!

 

Easter eggs, especially chocolate ones, pose a high risk to cats. Chocolate contains

theo-bro-mine, which is toxic and can cause symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, and death.

Other Easter treats like raisins  in your hot cross buns are toxic.

To keep your cat safe, store all Easter treats and packaging out of reach, watch small children to incase they drop or try to “share” with their furry friend.

 

What to do if you suspect poisoning

CALL your vet for advice

LOOK-OUT for these signs

- Vomiting

-Drooling

-Difficulty breathing 

If your cat is experiencing ANY of these symptoms please take to an emergency Vet
